Fashion collaborations | Anna Dello Russo and Maison Margiela for H&M

Anna Dello Russo for H&M Accessories
The Italian Fashion icon Anna Dello Russo, who describes herself as a fashion victim brings us a lovely and bold collection of accessories in gold and turquoise. The Vogue Japan editor is as excited as we are about this collaboration of accessories for H&M.
She has been seen wearing many items from the collection, especially when she was spotted during Paris Couture week trotting around in a turquoise luggage and pink Oscar de La Renta gown in Place Vendome, Paris. In fact she was there as part of the September 2012 issue for Vogue Russia which featured most of the H&M items from the collection which was revealed this month.
The collection will include bold, bejewelled accessories, which definitely represent the Italian Vogue editor. Lively turquoise and gold accessories mostly featuring the letter 'A' ... luggage, sunglasses, sparkly bracelets, charm bracelets, sunglasses, necklaces featuring snakes, bejeweled minauderies, collars and statement necklaces.
This is not a collection for the shy and modest, but for those who want to stand out.
The collection will be hitting the stores on the 4th of October 2012 ... I will probably be camping outside the H&M store at Via Por Santa Maria in Firenze to get my hands on all the items.

Maison  Martin Margiela for H&M's A/W 2012
One of the most talked about collaborations with H&M - Maison Martin Margiela. When it was announced, that the Belgian designer will be collaborating, everyone was scepitical, wondering what the avant-garde designer, would be coming up with, but he has surprised everyone, bringing an edgy collection for this A/W 2012.
Not much has been revealed but it shows that bold, well structured coats, asymmetric dresses and skirts seem to be the centre of this collection.
The collection will be launched on the 15th of November 2012 in around 230 H&M stores worldwide. I'm sure all the fashionistas will be flocking to the stores, to get a unique piece from this collection.

Raf Simons for Dior ... the 2012 Autumn/ Winter Haute Couture collection

Raf Simons and the beginning of  a wonderful partnership with one of the most established fashion houses in the world - Christian Dior
Raf Simons entered the world of Haute Couture with elegance and poise, confident as if he has been doing couture forever, he wowed and brought back the 1950s glamour for the 2012 Autumn/ Winter Christian Dior Haute Couture collection.
It was one of the most talked about debuts in the fashion world, lots of speculation and expectations, attended by designers such as Marc Jacobs, Alber Elbaz, Pierre Cardin, Azzedine Alaia, Donatella Versace, Riccardo Tisci, Olivier Theyskins, Christopher Kane and Diane von Furstenberg.
Raf Simons said that 'The show was about beauty in a natural way', that he is looking into the brand with a new kind of energy, whilst re-visting the label's heritage and taking that with a modern kind of approach to the label and couture.
Feminine touches and old glamour, A-line shapes, belts bringing out the woman's shape, very classical and timeless. Daytime suits, for an ultra glamourous look and lovely textures, a true couture collection, recalling the timeless heritage of Christian Dior with defined accents from Raf Simons especially in the choice of birght colours ... blush pink, red, black, dark blue, yellow and white, with a focus on side pockets, lovely pointed court shoes and wool cigarette pants. He also featured Dior's wasp-waist New Look launched in 1947.
Minimal bold make up with dark red lips, defined eyebrows and silver, green and other piercing coloured eyeshadow, whilst the hair was styled straight with middle parting, very elegant and conservative.
A poetic and romantic collection ... sculptured lines, defined silhouettes, a sense of chic femininity and comfort, simply beautiful.
